- More fan translations than ever so we can play exclusives released on the Famicom with systems like the Retron 5.
- Hacks of favorites to give them a new look, new worlds or more challenging play.
- Finally we have brand new titles or homebrews from individual passion projects to small studios of indie developers that share the love for these classic consoles. Many of these are able to deliver a professional finish because of platforms like Kickstarter and Indie GoGo that allow our community to express their love and support by investing in these projects.

I was inspired to go down this rabbit hole after watching a video on the MetalJesusRocks channel featuring John Riggs. Admittedly the video was three years old so some of the games are no longer being sold as physical game paks. It was a lot of fun discovering how much creativity and support there is in the community to produce new games for the iconic Nintendo Entertainment System.
